Personal profile

Research

My PhD research is part of the GLOCULL project (Globally and LOCally-sustainable food-water-energy innovation in Urban Living Labs). The purpose of the GLOCULL project is to gain knowledge in the potential impact from local to global change pathways in the Food Water Energy Nexus through innovation experiments, their evaluation, and scaling. This project has 7 teams distributed through 7 countries, each with their own local Urban Living Lab in the Food Water Energy Nexus, and each partnering with small or medium sized enterprises in their local communities. My research will center around the Lund University case study called the SustBeerLab, an Urban Living Lab situated in the Skåne, Sweden craft beer and brewing industry. The main purposes of the SustBeerLab are to trial innovative sustainability solutions within craft beer production, and the development and diffusion of sustainability principles for craft brewing with the Skåne Brewery Association as a partner. Through inter- and transdisciplinary teams, we will develop and test participatory methods and an evaluation scheme specific to the GLOCULL project and associated Urban Living Labs.
