Personal profile
Research
I am a doctoral student of English linguistics. My main interests include Construction Grammar, corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, semantics, pragmatics and spoken discourse.
For the first study of my thesis, I investigated all-cleft constructions, e.g., all I did is I wrote to them all (from London–Lund Corpus 2) in the London–Lund corpora in order to find out why speakers use this construction and how the construction has developed since London–Lund 1.
In the past, I was a research assistant on the LangTool project (https://projekt.ht.lu.se/langtool/project-description).
In terms of teaching at Lund University, I have taught:
- the English component of ENGC02 - English: Grammar and Translation (online)
- the English Grammar workshops which are part of ENGA04 - English: Grammar
- the feedback session of the Popular Science component of Scientific Communication
