Postdoctoral fellow, Size- and Shape-based Separation of Group A Streptococcus Towards Study of Size-dependant Pathogenicity

Personal profile

Research

I am a Ph.D. student in biophysics and microfluidics at Lund
University, department of Physics. My Ph.D.  project focuses on using microfluidic methods  for the separation of Group A Streptococcus, combining time-lapse microscopy and live cell imaging to assess their pathogenicity.

During my Ph.D., I have gained experience in bacterial and cell culture, fluid dynamics, fluorescence, confocal and STED microscopy, UV and soft lithography fabrication, as well as image processing and computer vision.
