Personal profile

Professional work

I am a licensed psychologist, specialised in clinical neuropsychology. I have extensive clinical experience in assessing cognition in patients diagnosed with neurological disorders such as CNS-tumours or epilepsy. My professional work has included supervision of students and professionals, as well as lecturing and education. In 2021, I defended my thesis on fatigue in survivors of childhood cancer and shortly afterwards I received a 3-year international post-doc grant from the Swedish Research Council. I have therefore taken a leave of absence from my clinical work in order to conduct a postdoc in the Netherlands.

Research

My research focus is neuropsychology and my PhD thesis work involved fatigue after childhood cancer, and especially the relationship between fatigue and cognitive abilities. My postdoctoral research project will be an extension of my PhD thesis and during 2021-2024 I will investigate the biospychosocial model of fatigue in survivors of childhood cancer.

Teaching

I am a qualified teacher at university level and have undergone training in teaching and learning in higher education.
