Personal profile

Research

My research examines the hidden costs of unpaid elder caregiving among men and women across European nations as well as how the societal organization of care and paid work relates to these costs. It takes an interdisciplinary, gender- and country-comparative, and quantitative approach. I use large-scale, cross-disciplinary survey data from the Survey of Health, Retirement and Aging in Europe (SHARE) as well as macro-level data from other international sources.

Teaching

I teach Stata labs in the advanced-level course EKHM66 Econometrics II.
