Personal profile

Research

I am a doctorate student at Human Rights Studies, since the autumn of 2019. I have a focus on sustainability and I am part of the Lund University 2030 Agenda Graduate School. My dissertation project is about understanding the norms imbedded in the 2030 Agenda and the role they play when the Agenda is implemented at a local level. The focus is on empirical examples from the city of Malmö and the role local civil society actors have in multi-stakeholder partnerships for social sustainability. The dissertation looks at these partnerships from a human right perspective focusing on questions of accountability, participation and equality/non-discrimination. Special attention is given to the principle of “Leave no one behind” and to economic inequality.
