Personal profile

Research

My main research interest is on the determinants of health and well-being in the population with a focus on the effect of life course socioeconomic status on mortality at later ages. I utilize age-period-cohorts to investigate the distinctive effects of the three time components. I use Swedish historical and contemporary data that cover the last two centuries. In addition I am also interested in the impact of family structures on different life outcomes.
