Research

I conduct research in the field of nanoelectronics, focusing on advanced semiconductor technology in power electronics and quantum enabled devices.

For power electronics, we develop vertical components with wide and ultra-wide bandgaps, such as GaN, AlGaN, and Ga2O3, suitable for high breakdown voltages above 1kV.

In quantum technology, we work with hybrid semiconductor-superconductor elements for cryogenic amplifiers and other quantum components.

The development of nanotechnology for components, characterization, and modeling of transistors and oxide-semiconductor interfaces is of interest.

Previous research has focused on III-V MOSFETs for low-power RF applications, both in nanowires and quantum well transistors, quantum transport studies of quantum dots and resonant tunneling diodes, and fabrication/charcterization of high frequency InP/InGaAs DHBTs.
