Background and position
PhD at Lund University, Associate Professor (Docent) in Sociology and Professor of Service Studies at the Department of Service Management and Service Studies

Research area
My research interests focus on the intersection between culture, economy and social life. The social construction of boundaries between commercial and personal/intimate aspects of life is a recurrent topic in my research. Service encounters and interactions, tourist experiences, the professionalization of the meeting industry, lifestyle entrepreneurship in tourism and rural family businesses, and working conditions in the creative industries are some of the areas in my studies.
