Research

I am a professor in physiotherapy and head of the research group "Human Movement: Health and Rehabilitation" at the Department of Health Sciences. I also cooperate with the research group Family Medicin, the osteoarthritis research network LOAD, and the Ear- Nose- and Throat research group. Besides research and teaching, I also work in clinical practice, two half-days a week, at the ENT-department at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.

My research concerns dizziness, vertigo, balance deficits, falls, and fall prevention. Other research fields are osteoarthritis and patient education. I also perform research within the field of stroke-rehabilitation in primary health care, and research within the field of higher education.

I teach at the Physiotherapy programme, at the Master programme in medical sciences, and at commissioned courses in vertigo and dizziness, administered by Lund University.
