I am a professor in physiotherapy and head of the research group "Human Movement: Health and Rehabilitation" and deputy head of the Department of Health Sciences. I cooperate with the osteoarthritis research network LOAD, and the Ear, Nose, and Throat research group. Besides research and teaching, I also work in clinical practice, two half-days a week, at the ENT department at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.

My research concerns dizziness, vertigo, balance deficits, falls, and fall prevention. Other research fields are osteoarthritis, cancer rehabilitation, human movement, and patient education. Overall, the research is about developing and evaluating methods that can help people stay physically active and independent, as well as prevent disabilities, often by combining physiotherapy knowledge with innovative technology and new ways to measure movement and function.

Currently, I am the main supervisor for three PhD students and co-supervisor for one PhD student. 

I teach in the Physiotherapy programme, the Master's programme in medical sciences, and commissioned courses in vertigo and dizziness administered by Lund University.
