Evan’s research interests currently centre on the interaction between institutional configurations and public policy outcomes. Drawing on neo-institutionalist and policy process theories, his dissertation aims to develop an understanding of how institutional configurations contribute towards the persistence and reform of fossil fuel subsidies. In pursuing this line of enquiry Evan aims to develop new insights on how to bring about sustainable energy transitions.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
