My research interests focus on understanding and explaining the mechanisms underlying the long-run process of economic and demographic developments - with a particular emphasis on the role played by women empowerment and gender equality.

Teaching

I have teaching experience in Economic History, Economic Policy, European Integration, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Economics, and International Trade.
