Personal profile

Research

I am a researcher in the Healthy Ageing in a Digital World (HAIDI) programme at the Department of Communication, Lund University. I am also currently working as a researcher on the project Digitizing the Discipline: Early Computing and the Making of Historical Knowledge in Sweden – a collaboration with historian Sune Bechmann Pedersen – which investigates when, why, and how historians in Sweden began using computer technology and the impact it had on historical research.

I earned my PhD in Sociology from Lund University in 2025, with a dissertation titled Tenacious Documents: Exploring the Allure of Documentation in Swedish Compulsory Schools. My doctoral research employed ethnographic methods and drew on Science and Technology Studies (STS) to examine documentation practices in Swedish compulsory schools.

My research interests include the Science and Technology Studies (STS), sociology of knowledge, knowledge production, governance, digitalisation, materiality, and ethnography.
