Currently, my main area of research is animal cognition, with a focus on predictive cognition, rhythmic communication, reasoning and imagination, behavioural synchrony, behavioural and emotional contagion, imitation, social learning, temporal aspects of social interaction, vocal communication. I have conducted studies with both human adults and infants, as well as with chimpanzees and orangutans
