My field of research is concerned with the qualitative study of nonlinear partial differential equations. I am particularly interested in the modeling and analysis of equations describing phenomena arising in fluid dynamics. Questions regarding

• mathematical modeling,
• well-posedness,
• existence/nonexistence of solutions,
• qualitative properties including stability, symmetries and decay rates

build the main focus of my research.
