Research

I am always fascinated about genetic and having worked at a major donor blood center, fell in love with blood groups. Therefore, my focus of research is combining the two, to study the genetic and genomics of the blood group genes, especially of how they express, what regulate or alters their expression. I am also interested in the differences of the blood group presenation in individuals and between different populations. In my research, I get to build bridges between clinic and basic research, and having in silico analysis and in vitro experiment as my weapons of tools to hack down some mysteries that still sits there to be discovered!
