Personal profile

Research

My research interests lie at the junction of political economy, development economics and economic history, with a particular focus on culture, religion and ethno-religious minorities. I have previously worked on the effect of cultural differences on trade, conflict, and development. I also study the influence of ethno-religious minorities on human capital spillovers and their legacy on development. I have received my Ph.D. in economics from Bocconi University, Milan.
