Research
I am a PhD researcher in the VERSAM project which explores the complex collaboration dynamics among diverse actors involved in governing sustainability transitions at local and regional levels with an empirical focus on the transport and mobility sector in several Swedish regions. The project is part of the national Graduate School in Energy Systems and is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency.
Within this scope, my research focuses on how personal, relational and other intrinsic factors, such as values, shared purpose and mutual learning, can act as drivers of collective climate action. By integrating perspectives from social psychology, research on inner transformations and political economy, I also explore how governance structures, institutional arrangements and power dynamics condition whether and how such intrinsic drivers can be mobilised for equitable climate action.
