Personal profile
Research
I am a PhD student in French philology. My main research is focused on localising and publishing French rare manuscripts and books from different periods in Scandinavia, and I investigate the cultural interconnections between the countries. I can also add analyses of old letters and archival documents. My research specialties are mostly palaeography, philological methods, circulation of manuscripts and books, cultural relations between France and Sweden, printed editions and manuscripts in XVIIIth-XIXth, literary influences and analyses. My studies drive me to train myself in art history and book history.
My dissertation project is titled “Hidden writing, treasures revealed: Philological and historical deep dive through French works preserved by the Swedish aristocracy from the 15th to the 19th century .”
In this project, I follow the steps of a French emigrant, who was close to the von Fersen family, and who wrote and printed literary works in Sweden.
I am educated in Montpellier III University in France where I previously worked with historiography, hagiography, and synoptic edition.
I am also a teacher in French as a foreign language and as a mother tongue with a Swedish license and I taught many years in middle- and high-schools in Sweden.
