Personal profile

Research

My main areas of interests are development economics and international economics. In particular I´m interested in the effects of external shocks, such as changes in export prices and capital inflows, on the economies of developing countries. I have published chapters in books and articles in international journals such as Development Policy Review and International Economic Journal.

 

Teaching

My main areas of teaching are in development economics and international economics.

Outreach

I work with capacity building in trade policy for developing countries through trapca (Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa) where I´ve the position as academic director.
