Personal profile

Research

In my research I am interested in discussing the historic and modern interplay of the media text, image and music. The objects of my research are both historic genres like emblems, meditation books or humanistic school plays and modern objects of illustrated books like children books or the illustrated books like A. S. Byatt’s “The Matisse Stories”.

I am also working in the broad field of advertising in modern media. The rhetoric function and historic roots of film trailers are questioned from the perspective of intermediality as well as Astrid Lindgren’s World analyzed as blending techniques of the Total Work of Art and in terms of modern ‘experience economy’.
