Personal profile

Research

My research focus on care and treatment at home for children and adolescents with long-term illness and their families. I work at the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. As a nurse, I have worked with children and adolescents with cancer and my research focus on how care and treatment affect the quality of life for the children and their families, and how we can support them during and after the treatment. Implementation research has a special focus on understanding how we can introduce and maintain new forms of care that benefit both the child and the family, the health care and the society.
