Personal profile

Research

My research at the Chemical Physics Division focuses on the polariton physics of biological light-harvesting complexes (LH2s) and organic photovoltaic solar cells. Specifically, I investigate how energy transfer, light absorption, and photovoltaic device performance can be modified through strong and weak light–matter coupling between the material and an optical microcavity. I conduct this research both experimentally and computationally, employing two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy and simulations based on open quantum system master equations and polariton–exciton Hamiltonians.
