Research

My research area is stroke and shoulder pain. The title of my dissertation from 2013 is "Shoulder pain after stroke - prevalence, contributing factors and consequences in daily life. The post-doc projects are in the same area and in collaboration with ass professor, physiotherapist Christina Brogårdh, and professor, physiotherapist Gunvor Gard. The present studies are qualitative, investigating how persons with shoulder pain after stroke experience the pain, are affected by the pain in daily life and how they perceive the effects of interventions.
