Personal profile

Research

I currently work as a pediatrician and medical director of the Pediatric Emergency Department at Lund Skåne University Hospital. My primary research focus is on fever in infants aged ≤2 months. Other research fields include common presentations in the pediatric emergency department, pediatric infectious diseases, and sepsis. An important aspect of my research is to investigate the ways in which the overuse of medical care fails to improve outcomes, harm patients, and waste resources, and to stimulate discussions and debates about the necessity of various tests, treatments, and procedures.
