Research

I'm an associate professor in epidemiology affiliated with Professor Marju Orho-Melander's research group (Diabetes and cardiovascular disease - genetic epidemiology). The overall aim of my research is to utilise detailed individual level data on genetic susceptibility, modifiable risk factors, and proteomic profiling to improve prediction and prevention of early mortality, cardio-metabolic diseases and common cancers.
