Current research

In my research on machine learning and artificial intelligence, I examine the daily and scientific work of putting together algorithmic systems. Another aspect of my research is about understanding the relationship between algorithms and ethical categories. I intend to conduct ethnographic fieldwork with computer scientists and engineers who develop AI systems for my dissertation. I am part of the project “Show & Tell: Scientific representation, algorithmically generated visualizations, and evidence across epistemic cultures” (ERC, 2021-2025) led by Alison Gerber.
