In my research, I develop methods and insights to address societal challenges and shape conditions of existence in a changing world. In my thesis, In Dialogue with Society (2025), I explored how the performing arts can serve as a platform for democratic practice and societal reflection. By utilizing performative conversation models and participant-oriented formats, I investigated how theatre can create situations where the audience is not merely seen as recipients but as active co-creators of meaning, experience, and political understanding. My research illustrates how theatre can be a tool for facilitating dialogue, increasing participation, and renewing working methods within art institutions. Through my work, I seek to combine artistic practice with social engagement. My ambition is to further develop interdisciplinary dialogue and contribute new perspectives on how art and research can collaboratively create pathways for progress in times of change.
