Research

James Merricks White is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Technology and Society, where he is studying trust and trustworthiness in AI consumer markets. His research interests include expertise, knowledge/ignorance and standardisation.

James completed his PhD research at Maynooth University in Ireland. His thesis explored the work of 'ISO/TC 268 Sustainable cities and communities', the principal city standards technical committee of the International Organization for Standardization.
