I did my bachelors degree in biology with a main field of studies in biochemistry. After that I wanted to learn more about chemistry so I ended up studying Chemical Biology at the University of Jena. During my masters I went abroad for half a year to Lund University in 2022 and then quickly returned for my Masters Thesis in 2023. After completing my degree in early 2024 I came back to Lund University for a third time to then start my PhD Project in the Pheromone Group!
I am working with bark beetles for my project where I try to understand their host preferences. Very interesting!
