Research

The context of my doctoral project is the Nordic Digital Health Education, NorDigHE, project, performed in collaboration with three Scandinavian countries and with a variety of organizations, from higher education institutions and hospitals to private technological educational firms. 1) create and validate a composition of learning activities aimed at healthcare professionals based on e-learning, virtual simulations, serious games and quizzes that are useful to implement virtually in hospitals and higher education institutions; 2) facilitate the specialization of healthcare professionals to deliver digital health in a Home at Hospital model; and 3) investigate the impact of such education in healthcare practice. This thesis project aims to evaluate the development and implementation of a digital Hospital at Home education applying a multimethod and mixed methods approach.
