I research energy systems from social science perspectives, e.g. sociotechnical system, planning processes, governance, gender, energy democracy, energy citizenship, energy justice and technology diffusion and adoption. Objects of study are smart grid, energy flexibility, energy prosumers, energy communities, Industrial symbiosis and heating systems.
