Personal profile

My research explores how agricultural landscapes can best promote pollinator populations and farmers' agricultural resilience. To do this, I combine field-based experiments with economic valuations, social-psychology and individual-based models to understand the relationships between decision making, on-farm management, conservation and agronomic goals.

I am currently working on a FORMAS funded project that aims to develop pesticide risk assessment for bees. In particular, I aim to: (1) quantify bees’ exposure to pesticide mixtures in agricultural landscapes and (2) test effects of pesticide mixtures on bees at a colony scale. This is needed to ensure that agricultural landscapes can support healthy pollinator populations and deliver sustainable pollination services.
