Johan Hermansson

Johan Hermansson is a Doctoral Candidate in Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Law, Lund University. His doctoral research project concerns legal persons and legal personhood. The doctoral research project aims to analyze how these legal phenomena can be, and have been, defined and understood and, if deemed necessary, to present a tenable definition of them. The analysis takes into account recent theoretical developments in Jurisprudence concerning rights and legal persons as well as global developments in law where previous legal non-persons such as rivers and non-human animals have acquired legal rights and/or status as legal persons.
