Johan Thunberg is a WASP Fellow and an Associate Professor (Universitetslektor) at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology at Lund University, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. degree from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, in 2014. Between 2014 and 2018, position as a Research Associate with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Between 2018 and 2023 was with the School of Information Technology, Halmstad University, as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. His research interests covers communications, control theory, nonlinear systems, and pattern recognition.
