Personal profile

Professional work

I am a consultant interventional neuroradiologist at Skåne University Hospital in Lund. We are involved in endovascular stroke treatment, cerebral aneurysm treatment and other interventional procedures in the central nervous system, as well as diagnostic neuroradiology.

Research

I am involved in several projects concerning treatment of stroke and vascular imaging.

The Stroke Imaging project aims to further the understanding of stroke in association with vascular anatomy and genetic factors based on one of the largest collection of MRI of stroke as part of the global collaboration ISGC.

The Prehospital triage at stroke project is evaluating a new tailor-made prehospital triage tool (PreHAST) to correctly diagnose and triage stroke patients eligible for thrombectomy.

The Vascular Imaging projects aim to apply the new possibilities of CT and MRI to the needs of interventional radiology.
