Research

I am a PhD student at Malmö Acamdemy of Music in music education. My primary research interests are assessment and grading in music education in Swedish compulsory schools grades 6-9. I am working with social constructionism as my ontological point of departure and I am using various concepts to look at music teachers’ assessment and grading practices, such as teachers' visions and subject positioning.
