Scholarly, John Olsson's research centers on omnichannel fulfillment and last-mile delivery. Specifically, his research focuses on the emerging service of unattended home delivery in e-grocery retail. He investigates such delivery services from a consumer-centric perspective to shed light on the customer journey in relation to last-mile delivery services.

John Olsson is doctoral student at Packaging Logistics in the Department of Design Sciences at the Faculty of Engineering LTH, Lund University. In addition, he is part of ReLog at Campus Helsingborg and affiliated with the Centre for Retail Research at Lund University.


John Olsson teaches in the Logistics Service Management program at Campus Helsingborg, which is given in collaboration between LTH and the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is a member of the Programme Committee for the bachelor programme in Logistics Service Management and teaches supply chain management, logistics and strategy, as well as quantitative methods.
