Personal profile

I'm a PhD student in Environmental Science, within the multidiciplinary research project Land4Biomass where we investigate the challenges and opportunities linked to production of agricultural biomass for bioenergy in Sweden. In my research I analyse what types of land that could be relevant for future bioenergy crop cultivation and what ecological consequences a conversion of this land could have. More specific, I focus on how conservation of biodiversity and provisioning of ecosystem services could be affected by an increased bioenergy production in the Swedish agricultural landscape. By addressing what sustainabilty conflicts that could arise from climate mitigation efforts, like bioenergy production, we could avoid unsustainable land-use changes in the future, and instead maximize the benefits for both climate and the environment.

I have my study background in Physical Geography, Biology and Environmental Science (Lund University and University of Gothenburg).
