Personal profile

Research

I hold a PhD in service studies from Lund University. My research interests lie within tourism studies and destination development and branding, with specific focus on food production and consumption.

In my doctoral thesis, Enacting 'the local' in culinary tourism - a study of culinary actors and their practices (2020), I studied how culinary tourism is enacted as an economic, social, and cultural activity, through the notion of “the local”.
