I am a health economist with over seven years of experience in economic evaluation, evidence synthesis, policy analysis, and health systems strengthening. I hold a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from Karolinska Institute in Sweden.

Currently completing my PhD in Health Economics and Health Systems at Lund University, in collaboration with the University of Zambia, my research focuses on the impact of health financing reforms in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), particularly the introduction of National Health Insurance Schemes. My doctoral work includes a systematic review on the impact of health insurance on health service utilization and financial protection, an analysis of inequalities in healthcare access, and an evaluation of the role of family planning information in contraceptive use. I am also exploring the enablers and challenges associated with implementing national health insurance policies.

My broader research interests and experience span impact evaluation, health financing,  priority setting in both LMICs and high-income countries including development of health technology assessment (HTA) guidelines. Through this work, I am committed to generating evidence that informs equitable and sustainable health policy reforms around the world.
