Research

My research focuses on a novel imaging technique called magnetomotive ultrasound imaging. This technique uses iron oxide nanoparticles as a contrast agent for ultrasound, enabling more precise and safer diagnostic possibilities, such as earlier cancer detection or better tumor localisation. With the right type of nanoparticles, magnetomotive ultrasound imaging could also show promising potential for therapeutic applications.
