Personal profile

Research

I am a research coordinator at CEC, working to strengthen collaboration and outreach. The aim is to ensure that CEC:s research is relevant to and available for society. The best way to achieve this is through regular and constructive dialogue between relevant actors. I thus focus my work on creating and coordinating networks, platforms and activities on CEC-relevant subjects, enabling researchers and stakeholders to meet, exchange experiences, learn about each other’s perspectives and initiate trans-disciplinary research or collaboration projects. In close contact to the leadership of CEC, and together with key stakeholders, I also conduct Horizon scans in order to identify important societal challenges, aiming to strategically develop community-relevant environmental and climate research and collaboration. I also support individual researchers and stakeholders to get in touch with each other, and can give advice when it comes to the organisation and development of stakeholder collaboration in individual projects.

Part of my work is conducted within the thematic collaboration initiative LU Land – Land-use for a sustainable future, and together with the joint stakeholder reference group of the strategic research areas BECC and MERGE.

I have a background as researcher in animal ecology, focussing on biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes. I am also very interested in how cost-effective policies can be developed, and have co-ordinated or been involved in several evaluations of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) within the EU. Previously, I have among others been working as biologist at the County Administrative Boards in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Gotland.
