Current research and teaching
My academic work concentrates on the democratic challenges in contemporary European Politics, including insights from the political psychology research and populism literature. At Lund University, I teach comparative politics and research methods.

Introduction
I joined the Department in 2020. Previously, I have been post.doc and Assistant Professor at University of Copenhagen (2013-2017), European Chief Advisor at the Think Tank Kraka (2015-2018), and Senior Analytical Consultant at Labour Union Djøf (2015-2020). I hold a Ph.D. from the European University Institute (2012), an MPhil from Cambridge (2008) , and a MA from University of Copenhagen (2008).
Ongoing research projects
Currently, I am principal investigator of a comparative project on popular attitudes towards the Covid19-pandemic policies in Denmark and Sweden. Concurrently, I am finalising a project on how democratic size is detrimental to internal efficacy, using experimental designs, as well as look into the evolution of populism and support for stealth democracy in contemporary Europe.
