My research interests are rooted in the will to understand the adaptability of human language production from a psycholinguistic perspective. What happens to the underlying cognitive processes involved in language production when the production modality changes from speaking to writing? And how do different factors influence the cognitive processes themselves, regardless of the language production modality?

These are some of the central quesions that guide my research, and in my dissertation I examine the effect of truthful versus deceitful storytelling on linguistic processes in speaking and writing.
