Personal profile

Research

My research interest lies in innovation economics. I have used both quantative and qualitative methods. E.g. I have measured productivity effects from research and development at the firm/industry level, looking specifically att differences depending on the organization of R&D (who performs it? who pays for it?). I have also, in more policy-oriented work, looked at the need for specific innovation support in rural areas (intervïew-based study).

Teaching

I have teached the introductory course in macroeconomics for many years and have contributed to the development of the course. I have for example made a number of video lectures to complement the traditional lectures in class. I also have experience from teaching microeconomics and international economics at the introductory level as well as supervision of bachelor theses.
