Research
My research is primarily within the area of corporate governance. Amongst others I have studied the development of the Swedish corporate governance system over time. One basis for this study is a twenty-year longitudinal study of directors on Swedish corporate boards. I have also investigated the relation between convergence and development of regulation and practice and the compliance of the Swedish corporate governance code.
Recently we have focused on the effect of digitalization on corporate governance and performed studies of the digitalization of book-keeping as well as auditin. We also study two-sided platforms, with a specific focus on the entrepreneurs on the platforms and the division of incoms.
Most of my teaching is in the area of accounting.
