Personal profile

Professional work

My position as site manager of the National 7T facility entails supporting projects running on the 7T, communicating with the vendor, the hospital organization and the LBIC leadership. I also work with informing researchers in all faculties at Lund University as well as the other Swedish universities about the status of the scanner.

The national 7T facility was built up during 2012-2015, and opened for research in the autumn of 2015. The 7T MR scanner is owned by the Lund University Bioimaging center (LBIC), and is run by LBIC in collaboration with the Skåne University hospital. It is open to all Swedish reserachers through a project application process. Currently, projects are running in the areas of joint imaging, neuroradiology, neuroscience, MR physics and MR safety.

Research

My research is in MR flow and velocity measurements and how these can be utilized in neurovascular reserach.

In addtion, I am involved in different projects in ultra-high field MR.

Outreach

I regularly contribute to Lund science center ("Vattenhallen") and lecture at Lund Universitys information days for high school students ("NMT-dagarna").
