Research
My doctoral research projects investigate cardiac hemodynamics in patients with heart failure. The overall purpose is to gain a greater understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms in the failing heart, and to find new methods for diagnosis and evaluation of treatment effect. Specifically, I work with analysis of blood flow within the chambers of the heart, using magnetic resonance imaging with time-resolved three-dimensional data of cardiac anatomy and function.
